TORY ESSEX DAMNED AS UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN

Tory Essex County Council has been slammed by an official report which shows that the Tories are not protecting vulnerable children. The official report states clearly that the Tory County Council is “inadequate” in safeguarding Essex children.

The official report places Essex in the lower ranks of Local Government, however the Tories are trying to deflect attention away from it by talking about the opening of two new Post Offices.

 Speaking after the reports publication, Cllr Paul Kirkman, Leader of the Labour Group and Leader of the Opposition said:

“This report is horrendous. It clearly stated that Tory Essex is not looking after our children’s safety. To makes things even worse the Tories are ignoring these findings and their County Council spin machine is talking about post offices. Post offices are important but not as important as the safeguarding of Essex children.

This Tory Council has officially failed in the most important duty the Council has, the sooner that they are out of office the better it will be for the people of Essex and our children.”
